Domodedovo Passenger Terminal (DPT) supports the effective use of and upgrades to the passenger terminal at Moscow Domodedovo Airport.

Domodedovo Passenger Terminal

Terminal has category C in IATA (International Air Transport Association) classification. Domodedovo Passenger Terminal was the first in Russia to be receive the international certificate of quality management ISO 9001:2000 from the International Organization for Standardization, which evidences the high quality of corporate management, high professional level of the staff, and a well-established system of control of the operational activities.

Domodedovo Passenger Terminal was the first in Russia to offer airlines the transfer traffic technology based on the recommendations of ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) and IATA (International Air Transport Association). Effective transfer connections become possible due to the fact that international and domestic flights are handled at Domodedovo by the same terminal.

Transport connections with Moscow Domodedovo Airport

Moscow Domodedovo Airport has the most advanced transport infrastructure among Moscow Aviation Hub's airports. Via the highway the airport can be reached by car or public transit route(taxi or shuttle bus).

Airport has several automated paid car parks for 6000 cars. Parking rates at Moscow Domodedovo Airport follow the market average and vary depending on the distance from the car park to the terminal building.

The airport is connected to Moscow by rail. The comfortable non-stop «Aeroexpress train» takes passengers from the airport to the center of Moscow. Travel time from the airport to Paveletsky Rail Terminal is about 40 minutes.

Boarding bridges

Moscow Domodedovo Airport was the first among the airports of Moscow Aviation Hub to use boarding bridges (jet bridges) in handling international and domestic flights. Currently, the airport has 37 boarding bridges, including bridges with two arms designed for wide-body aircraft (Boeing 747, Boeing 767, Boeing 777, Airbus A330, Airbus A340, etc.).

BMS

The smart BMS (Building Management System) automatically checks over 80,000 points inside the passenger terminal (up to 120,000 when the reconstruction of the passenger terminal completes) and controls the building services (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting of in the terminal building, apron, car parks, forecourt, baggage handling system, elevators, escalators). BMS maximizes energy-saving capabilities.

Automated public announcements

Announcements of check-in, baggage drop-off, change of flight status are made simultaneously in all of the Terminal's areas in English, Russian, Azerbaijani, Armenian, Arabic, Vietnamese, Hebrew, Spanish, Italian, Kyrgyz, German, Portuguese, Thai, Turkish, Uzbek, Ukrainian, French, Hindi, Japanese, and other national languages of the countries of departure and destination. The system allows making announcements in any language.

Automatic telephone inquiry system

Automatic telephone inquiry service (ASTIK) offers around the clock information that passengers and customers most frequently request in Russian and English.

Automatic baggage sorting system at the airport

This unique technology eliminates the loss of luggage. The system controls all stages of baggage handling from check-in to loading on the plane. The luggage belt is more than 15 km long. It connects domestic and international departures and automatically handles the baggage of transfer passengers. Special robots are responsible for sorting and storing luggage. Early Storage System for 1000 seats is a hotel for luggage storage. The robots move along special rails at a speed of 14 km/h, they can find the necessary one within two minutes and transfer the suitcase to the place of flight configuration
