‘S7’ RESUMES FLIGHTS FROM DOMODEDOVO AIRPORT TO APATITY
Employees of Rosaviatsia (Federal Air Transport Agency), together with colleagues from Moscow Domodedovo Airport and Ural Airlines, helped 14-year-old Sasha Filchukov from Mytishchi town fulfil his long-held dream of meeting Hero of Russia Damir Yusupov. The eighth-grader told about his desire in a letter to the President of Russia.
At Moscow Domodedovo Airport, Sasha and his parents met with Sergey Stramous, Deputy Head of Rosaviatsia, and Damir Yusupov, a pilot from Ural Airlines who was awarded the Hero of Russia title in 2019 for his courage and heroism demonstrated during the landing of his aircraft in extreme conditions.
At the end of the meeting, Damir Yusupov offered real life advice to his schoolboy fan:
“Alexander, I wish you to study well at school and take care of your health. And most importantly, no matter what, follow your dream. If you want to go into a profession, you need to go, study and fly. For if there is a burning desire, all other obstacles and difficulties will certainly be solved. Go ahead to your dream and everything will work out well!”
