DME’s Training Centre receives expanded IATA accreditation
‘Domodedovo Training’, Moscow Domodedovo Airport’s education center, has received extended accreditation from the Training and Competence Assessment Centre (CBTA Centre) of IATA – the International Air Transport Association. The accreditation allows ‘Domodedovo Training’ to independently conduct training in Russian under new programs and to issue IATA certificates to students. The IATA certificate is a mandatory requirement for airlines operating international flights.
The new programs include training courses on carriage of dangerous goods for cabin crew and personnel responsible for preparation of shipments of dangerous goods. The training is conducted in both full-time and distant learning formats. The duration of the training is from 16 to 32 hours, depending on the course. Students who have successfully completed the program will be awarded a certificate of advanced training or an IATA certificate, at the customer's choice.
Domodedovo Airport's Training Centre is the only one in Russia that has the status of a full member of ICAO TRAINAIR Plus.
