Moscow Domodedovo Airport Secured Long-Term Financing from ING Bank N.V. for T2 Baggage System

June 22, 2017, Domodedovo, Moscow Region. Moscow Domodedovo Airport has announced the signing of a loan agreement to finance the automatic baggage sorting system (ABSS) for the new segment of the Terminal T2.

DME's lender in this project is ING Bank N.V. The loan is insured by the export credit agency Atradius Dutch State Business N.V. (Netherlands). Funding for up to EUR 58.9 million is available for a period of up to 8 years.

Combined annual passenger capacity of the airport terminal after the completion of Phase 1 at T2 will exceed 45 million passengers. Commissioning of the new phase of the passenger terminal will be timed to coincide with the opening of the FIFA World Cup in 2018. As of the beginning of June 2017, the completion status of the project is 35%.
