Lucky Air Becomes the First Chinese Air Carrier at DME

June 13, 2017, Domodedovo, Moscow Region. Moscow's Moscow Domodedovo Airport handled the first flight by Lucky Air. Lucky Air has launched Kunming - Moscow (Domodedovo) - Kunming flights.

Lucky Air is the first Chinese air carrier at Moscow Domodedovo Airport. Flights are scheduled twice weekly - on Mondays and Fridays. Between July 5 and late September, the three flights weekly will be operated. By tradition, the new partner's first flight was met at Moscow Domodedovo Airport by a water salute.

On the Kunming - Moscow (Domodedovo) - Kunming route the wide-body Airbus A330-300 will fly, helping passengers to conveniently cover the distance of thousands of between Moscow and the largest city of Yunnan Province.

With the arrival of Lucky Air, the number of airlines flying from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Asia grew to ten. Currently, DME's route network includes 22 destinations in Asia. Last year, the combined passenger traffic to DME's destinations in Asia exceeded 795,000, which is 16.4% more than in 2015.
