Non-stop ‘Aeroexpress’ buses to Domodedovo Airport carried almost 3 mln passengers over 3 years
3 years ago, in March 2022, a new bus route to Domodedovo Airport dubbed ‘Aeroexpress’ was put into operation. Non-stop busses No. 1185 started transporting passengers from Domodedovskaya metro station to one of the largest air hubs in the country, Domodedovo Airport. It became possible to get to the airport by bus in 30-40 minutes.
Starting from the launch of the route, over 2.9 mln passengers used express buses No.1185.
“Development of passenger services and customer orientation is one of top priority tasks for Domodedovo Airport. In the modern world, it is not possible to solve it without raising its transport accessibility and fostering ease and comfort on trips. Cooperation with ‘Aeroexpress’ enables us to efficiently solve it through providing passengers with comfortable transport options between DME and Moscow,” says Andrey Pavlov, Director of Moscow Domodedovo Airport.
For the trip to the airport to feature maximum comfort, high-capacity tourist buses with a spacious baggage compartment are used on route No. 1185.
