25th Anniversary of Moscow Domodedovo Airport and Turkmenistan Airlines Partnership

May 26, 2017, Domodedovo, Moscow Region. Moscow Domodedovo Airport, ranked Russia's best airport, and Turkmenistan Airlines are celebrating the 25th anniversary of their partnership.

Over the past 25 years, Moscow Domodedovo Airport has handled more than 1.7 million passengers flying with Turkmenistan Airlines. Turkmenistan's flag carrier has scored more than 15,550 takeoffs and landings at DME.

Turkmenistan Airlines operates daily flights between the capitals of Russia and Turkmenistan on Boeing 737, Boeing 757, and the wide-body Boeing 777.

Currently, 7,000 passengers travel monthly between Ashgabat and Moscow on flights operated by Turkmenistan Airlines to and from DME. In the first four months of 2017, the passenger traffic on this route grew by 41% compared to the same period last year.
