HOW TO BECOME THE COUNTRY’S BEST INNOVATIVE AIRPORT

Moscow Domodedovo Airport became the winner of the National Award ‘Air Gates of Russia’ in the nomination ‘Best Innovative Project’. According to the results of the jury’s votes, Domodedovo scored the highest number of points among the participants in this nomination. The experts on the panel evaluated a broad set of innovative projects, but specifically commended the Medical & Social Cluster of the airport.

At the award ceremony, Sergey Makhnev, the Head of Domodedovo Airport’s Medical & Social Cluster, was the one to receive the statuette of the ‘Air Gates of Russia’ Award.

“Travelling is becoming the new norm of life and for many people it can be associated with increased stress levels, the need to overcome difficulties and limitations. Our mission is to create new standards of passenger care services," says Sergey Makhnev. “This victory is an incentive for us to continue our strive for excellence, to develop and improve lives of millions of passengers every day.”

Domodedovo Airport’s Medical & Social Cluster has united care services for people in need of special attention - passengers with children, pregnant women, the elderly and people with health issues - under the DME Care brand.
