Cargo and mail handling
The main function of the cargo terminal at Moscow Domodedovo Airport is handling cargo and mail.
According to Order 241 of July 17, 2012 by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation on air navigation fees and ground handling of aircraft at the airports and in the air space of the Russian Federation, handling of inbound and outbound bulk and unitized cargo and mail includes following activities:
- border, sanitary, and customs control (in international transport);
- weighing and labeling;
- assembly by flight, including loading into/unloading from unit load devices;
- storage of cargo and mail 24 hours after the arrival;
- sorting by consignees;
- issuing flight documents (cargo manifest);
- loading into and unloading from apron handling vehicles for transportation to/from the aircraft;
- transportation to/from the aircraft;
- loading into and unloading from the aircraft;
- control of aircraft loading.
Information:
Loading and unloading works are not included in the cost of cargo and mail handling. These services are provided by LLL Service Aero.

Note 5 : Loading / unloading works at delivery / receipt of cargo / mail are not included in the cost of handling cargo. | ||||||||

Note 6 : *All rates are exclusive of VAT. VAT is charged in excess of the indicated price in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation applicable at the time of settlement. | ||||||||

Note 7 : Cargo, according to IATA DGR Table 9.1.A: | ||||||||

Note 8 : If there are different categories of goods in the consignment, the highest possible tariff is applied. | ||||||||
