Sport teams welcomed at Domodedovo Airport
Solemn and warm welcome greetings were given to sport teams that arrived on international flights at Domodedovo Airport on 21st and 22nd March. ‘Emirates’ carried volleyball players from ‘Dynamo Moscow’ club back home, while ‘Ethiopian Airlines’ delivered the Zambian national football team.
On 21st March, the ‘Dynamo Volleyball Club-Moscow’ returned to Russia after their triumphant victory in the NAS Sports Tournament in Dubai, where the team defeated Italy’s ‘Grottazolina’ club in the final match. The athletes were greeted at the airport by representatives of the club, family members and sports media.
On 22nd March, the Zambian national football team arrived on an Ethiopian Airlines flight from Addis Ababa. The players flew to Moscow to participate in a friendly match with the Russian National Team. This tie was the first in the history of games between teams from Russia and Zambia.
