Moscow Domodedovo Airport hosted the annual emergency exercise

Moscow Domodedovo Airport held a full-scale emergency exercise to test the response of state agencies and airport services in the event of an aviation incident. The annual event takes place on the airside and in the terminal building. Over 100 people participated in the exercise.

On the first day, the team demonstrated the response capabilities during an emergency landing. The specialists trained in firefighting, rescuing passengers, unloading of dangerous cargo, medical care, and towing an aircraft from the runway.

The next day in the terminal building, airport services focused on working with passengers' relatives, airlines, and media in emergencies.
The exercise tested the response and communication abilities of the emergency team and checked technical equipment.
The exercise is mandatory to maintain the emergency preparedness of state agencies and airport services. Daily Moscow Domodedovo conducts approximately ten exercises in different locations.
