Domodedovo passengers have created their own unique aviation liveries at the airport

Moscow Domodedovo Airport presented to the passengers and guests of the air harbor the project "Livery as art", dedicated to the celebration of the Day of the Russian Air Fleet. The event was supported by partner airlines DME and the United Aircraft Corporation (part of Rostec).

At the photo stands, travelers can see both standard and unusual liveries of S7 Airlines, Emirates, Belavia, Ethiopian Airlines, Jazeera Airways, Uzbekistan Airways, NordStar, Red Wings and Izhavia aircraft. In addition, the exhibition presents photographs of new Russian aircraft MS-21 and SJ-100 produced by PJSC Yakovlev in the company livery of the UAC.

Also, on the opening day of the exhibition, everyone could try himself as an artist. Next to the exposition, a digital panel for drawing was installed, the width of which was 3 meters. Guests could portray their own design of the aircraft livery and get a digital picture as a keepsake.

"Aircraft liveries have long become not only an important element of corporate identity, but also an object of modern art. There is a beautiful tradition in the aviation industry to put original graphic compositions on airplanes dedicated to significant events and phenomena. As part of the project "Livery as Art", we have collected the stories of graphic design of our partners' airliners. We invite all guests of the airport to visit the exhibition and learn more about the amazing world of aircraft decoration," said Yulia Shadrina, Marketing Communications Director at Moscow Domodedovo Airport.

"Last year, the United Aircraft Corporation introduced a new corporate identity of the company, and we immediately decided that our aircraft should be one of the first carriers of it. We have developed a livery in recognizable blue and white colors, and now it will become common for the entire line of prototypes of Russian aircraft. It is very symbolic that our flagships in the segments of short- and medium–haul transportation - SJ-100 and MS-21 - were the first to "try on" it. I am sure that our planes will be a good addition to the "Livery as Art" project, and soon we will see them in the colors of many Russian airlines," said Elena Malova, Director of the Department of Exhibition Activities and External Communications of PJSC Yakovlev.

Guests of the airport will be able to see photos of the liveries until September 4 on the second floor of the passenger terminal.
