New Flights Open from Domodedovo Airport to Germany
15 September 2017, Domodedovo, Moscow Region. Moscow Domodedovo Airport is preparing New Year presents for travellers, in cooperation with its partner airlines. For example, a new flight opens from Domodedovo to Munich on 30 December 2017. Flights to this popular international destination will be operated by Ural Airlines on Saturdays and Tuesdays.
The capital of Bavaria is the most popular destination among travellers flying to Germany from Moscow Domodedovo Airport. In seven months of 2017 alone, the airport’s passenger traffic to this destination added up to 236 thousand people. Munich is a unique destination offering large-scale exciting events all year round, warm summer weather, and ski resorts for winter vacations. In 2016, the total passenger traffic on this route was 403,534 people.
There has been an increase in the passenger traffic to Germany via Moscow Domodedovo Airport. In the first half of 2017, the figure grew by 9.2% — from January to June, 457,200 travellers chose the airport for their flights to Germany.
