DOMODEDOVO AIRPORT HAS UPGRADED ITS CENTRALISED FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM
Moscow Domodedovo Airport has increased the number of aircraft stands linked to the centralised airport fuel supply system to 24. This is a system solution of the new generation that allows stationary pumping units to supply fuel to aircraft tanks directly from the fuel and lubricants storage.
Domodedovo Airport's centralised fueling system provides rapid intra-plane fueling for all types of aircraft, including the world's largest passenger aircraft - Airbus A380. The total capacity of the hydrant system is 900 cubic meters per hour, with the total volume of the tank farm of 49,000 cubic meters.
Domodedovo Airport's fuel supply system is one of the most modern in Eastern Europe and the CIS and meets both Russian and international standards. Also in 2024, the fueling complex passed the mandatory certification of the Federal Air Transport Agency for FAP-48 and received certificates from the operator of aviation fuels and lubricants.
