Emirates Announces Two Daily Airbus А380 Flights from DME
July 17, 2017, Domodedovo, Moscow Region - Moscow Domodedovo Airport, ranked the best in Russia, announces that, starting on October 1, 2017, Emirates will operate both daily flights on the Dubai-Moscow-Dubai route on the world's largest jet airliner - Airbus A380. This will increase the weekly capacity by more than 1000 seats.
«We welcome the airline's decision. This will strengthen the positive dynamics of our cooperation and meet the growing demand for flights to Dubai and other destinations on the extensive route network served by Emirates around the world. In 2016, the passenger traffic on the route grew by 13.6%. In the first half of this year, it grew by 26.1%»,— said Mr. Alexey Rayevsky, Deputy Chief Commercial Officer at Moscow Domodedovo Airport.
DME and Emirates have been partners for 14 years. During this time, they have jointly handled more than 4 million passengers and more than 16,000 flights. Moscow Domodedovo Airport is Russia's only airport regularly handling Airbus A380 flights.
