Siberia Airlines’ aircraft in a green livery arrives at Moscow Domodedovo
15 August, 2019. Domodedovo, Moscow region.
S7 Airlines has temporarily returned to its former name Siberia Airlines as a part of the “We Are Siberia” initiative. This week an Airbus A320 in a renewed livery has arrived at Moscow Domodedovo Airport. In addition to the name ‘Sibir’ printed in the Cyrillic alphabet on the fuselage, a pine tree appears on a new tailfin.
The airline has launched the initiative to raise funds for planting 1 000 000 trees. The action aims at restoring forests destroyed by fire in Siberia.
Moscow Domodedovo Airport cares for the environment and supports sustainable projects of its partner airlines. The air hub participates in green initiatives on a regular basis. The airport annually takes part in regional actions including ‘The Forest of Victory’ and ‘Our Forest. Plant Your Tree’, planting over 6 mln trees in Podmoskovye to date.
