Moscow Domodedovo Airport has successfully passed IATA’s Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO)

Moscow Domodedovo Airport has been awarded the ISAGO Registration confirming compliance of the airport’s ground handling procedures with safety standards set by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). The registration will be valid until 4th June, 2018. Importantly, in 2012 Domodedovo became the first Russian airport to have passed the ISAGO audit in all the ground handling areas.

IATA's decision to award Moscow Domodedovo Airport registration came after a comprehensive audit carried out by an IATA-licensed ISAGO audit team. This time Domodedovo was audited by highly qualified auditors from British Airways.

During the combined Headquarters and station audit, Moscow Domodedovo Airport has demonstrated compliance with ISAGO Standards and Recommended Practices for its ground handling services in the documentation and implementation of the following

organization and management (ORM);
load control (LOD);
passenger and baggage handling (PAВ);
aircraft handling and loading (HDL);
aircraft ground movement (AGM);
cargo and mail handling (CGM).

ISAGO registration is IATA program modeled after the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) and is built around a set of harmonized internationally recognized standards and accepted system for assessing the operational management and control systems of the Ground Service Provider.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport is one of the largest air hubs in Russia, and in 2015, its total passenger traffic amounted 30.5 million people. It is the best airport in Russia and the CIS as rated by Skytrax. Moscow Domodedovo Airport is the base airport in Moscow for member airlines of the largest global airline alliances – Star Alliance and oneworld.
