DOMODEDOVO AIRPORT EXPANDS CONNECTIVITY WITH THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES
The number of flights to the United Arab Emirates has been augmented in the autumn-winter schedule of Domodedovo Airport. Currently, direct scheduled and charter flights are operated by Russian and foreign airlines to four emirates - Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah. The total number of flights to the country is up to 50 per week. The most popular destination is Dubai. Passenger traffic to Dubai climbed 2% during 11 months of 2024.
4 carriers – ‘Emirates’, ‘Air Arabia’, S7, and ‘Ural Airlines’ - operate flights to the UAE on modern aircraft. Moreover, ‘Emirates’ performs these flights on Airbus A380, the largest passenger liner in the world. Domodedovo is the only airport in Russia that handles this type of aircraft on a regular basis.
