BELAVIA Celebrates 30 Years Since Its Foundation
Domodedovo Airport congratulates its partner, Belavia, the national carrier of the Republic of Belarus, on its 30th anniversary. For most of its history—25 years—the airline has worked with Domodedovo Airport, having carried approximately 5 million passengers. Flights to Minsk are operated twice daily. Daytime flight B2 958 departs Domodedovo at 12:20 PM, and evening flight B2 956 departs at 7:55 PM. These flights are carried out on Embraer 195 aircraft configured with 11 business class seats and 96 economy class seats. During peak periods, flights are operated on larger-capacity Boeing 737-300 aircraft, also in a two-class configuration.
"For 25 years, Belavia has been more than just a partner for us, but a truly close friend. A quarter-century of collaboration means thousands of flights and millions of passengers, transported to their vacation, work, and home destinations. But most importantly, it's the trust that was built long before the milestone," noted Andrey Ivanov, General Director of Domodedovo Airport. In honor of the airline's anniversary, Domodedovo Airport prepared sweet souvenirs for passengers—"Kartoshka" (potato) cakes. In September 2025, the potato flower became the official tourism logo of Belarus, symbolizing the country's culinary traditions and hospitality.
Belavia is one of the top ten airlines at Domodedovo Airport. The carrier's route network from Minsk allows for connecting flights to Kutaisi, Batumi, Delhi, Sanya, Hamambotota, Nanchang, and other cities.
