Moscow Domodedovo Airport participated in Routes Silk Road 2019

19 July, 2019. Domodedovo, Moscow region. Moscow Domodedovo representatives took part in the Routes Silk Road 2019 aviation forum. The event took place in Nur-Sultan attracting over 230 experts in the field. The participants discussed air services development between CIS, Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East as well as Central Asia countries.

During the forum, Domodedovo representatives negotiated route network development with exiting partners and discussed prospects for cooperation with potential partners.

DME offers its passengers a wide range of destinations for air travels. According to ACI Europe, in 2019 Domodedovo hub connectivity increased 6.5%. This key metric evaluates the number of connecting flights that can be facilitated by the air hub in question – taking into account minimum and maximum connecting times. The index measures the quality of the connections by the detour involved and connecting times.

Domodedovo passengers can fly to 56 European routes and the same number of destinations in CIS countries, the Middle East as well as Central Asia. In the last five years, the Middle East destinations have demonstrated a positive dynamic with a 6% rate of passenger traffic growth.
