Important! Order 40 of February 8, 2011 by the Ministry of Transport of Russia enacting transportation security requirements
Dear customers,
We would like to draw your attention to the mandatory requirements set forth in Order 40 of February 8, 2011 by the Ministry of Transport of Russia enacting transportation security requirements, taking into account the security levels for different categories of transport infrastructure and aircraft, Decree 1208 of November 15, 2014 by the Russian Government enacting transportation security requirements for individuals traveling by or staying at transport vehicles and transport infrastructure facilities.
Please note that failure to comply with the transportation security requirements or failure to comply with the transportation security requirements by negligence, unless these actions (inaction) are criminally prosecutable, constitute an administrative offense prosecutable under Article 11.15.1 of the Russian Administrative Offenses Code. Offenders will be held liable by authorized government agents and risk an administrative fine:
individuals - from RUB 3,000 to 5,000;
officials - from RUB 20,000 to 30,000;
sole proprietors - from RUB 30,000 to 50,000;
legal entities - from RUB 50,000 to 100,000.
Repeated administrative offense under Article 11.15.1 of the Administrative Offenses Code is punishable by an administrative fine: individuals - from RUB 5,000 to 10,000;
officials - from RUB 30,000 to 50,000;
sole proprietors - from RUB 50,000 to 70,000, or administrative suspension of business activity for up to 90 days;
legal entities - from RUB 100,000 to 200,000, or administrative suspension of business activity for up to 90 days.
We recommend that you read carefully the Russian regulatory requirements referred to above, make you staff aware of the rules, and adhere to them.
